Although pvps and grieving are allowed in the non-protected area this server, grievers may still post a threat to afk players by pushing the avatars out of protected regions. This kind of act is against the "respecting each other" principle of the server. Also victims have no way to get their stuff back or revenge afterwards as the griever can hide from the dynamic map and in their protected area, this would ruin the victim's gaming experience and give a message of allowing unfriendly or disrespectful acts in the server. Therefore I propose to disable one's protected area or ability to hide their location in the dynamic map for a certain period so that the victim to solve themselves out or cause any arguments.

After an in-depth discussion with the staff team, we've denied the suggestion and provided the following responses:

  • Player's responsibility
    • There're lots of ways to design a secure protected area, avoid being pushed or even access inside the area.
  • Player's choice
    • Players can choose not to AFK and log off instead.
  • PVP or Disrespect
    • If the player is using legitimate methods to kill a player, there's nothing consist of no respect, the Respect Rule refers to languages or consistent interruption.
  • Heavily increase current staff work
    • Whenever there's a PVP happened, staff will have to monitor manually, it shouldn't and never should be like this. If automated monitor, we'll need to code a new system.
  • Consistent and fairness
    • Players should solve their conflict in their own ways but not rely on the system.
  • Protected Area
    • We will never disable one's Protected Area unless they've logged off for 30 days.
  • Dynamic Map

As usual, if we've received strong support opinion towards this idea, we'll reconsider it, even though less likely. Although the idea has been denied, we can tell you've put effort contributing to the community, appreciated. 😀
